My First Post: UNIQSO Wig Review

It's my first blog post!

I wanted to make my first post something wig related.
I love wigs. Wigs don't always love me. It's a one-sided relationship.
But here I am, in all my wig-nerd glory, to share my review of my Aoba Seragaki (Dramatical Murder) wig that I bought from UNIQSO with you!

First impressions?
It's a gorgeous, thick wig with plenty of wefts and amazingly vibrant colour that just pops! The colour gradient of my wig was just like the pictures on UNIQSO's website, which was a pleasant surprise considering how little I paid for it!
There was very little shine from the synthetic hair fibres as well, which leaves it looking nice and natural. Well...as natural as bright blue hair can get anyway!
The wig cap/netting wasn't scratchy, unlike some cheap wigs, and it fitted my large chrome-dome quite comfortably.
You know how people use the phrase "You get what you pay for"? Well, I got what I paid for, and more, in a good way of course!
The wig sat comfortably at AUD$38.35 (USD$28.90). That's right...for under $40!
I kept second guessing myself. Surely this was too good to be true! Have I died and gone to wig-heaven? Was this some weird, twisted version of cosplay PUNK'd? Was Yaya Han going to jump around the corner of my office wall and tell me it was a prank?!?!
Well, no...unfortunately she didn't (bummer)...but I just had to have it!
Bloop! There goes $38.35 plus shipping from my PayPal account. Cya in a few weeks! (maybe)
And so the wait began...
Did it arrive in time for the convention? Nope.
Did it arrive the next few business days after the convention had ended? Yep.
That's about right.
Anywho! When it did arrive (2-3 weeks after I ordered it) I was so super excited! I don't know if any other human-being in history has ever ripped into a package so fast. Like...Speed-o'-sound-Sonic fast!
Then of course, in all my wig-nerd glory, I sat around in it for about an hour while I watched anime.
I recently wore the wig to Brisbane Madman Anime Festival on Sunday while cosplaying Aoba. It was very comfortable and you could easily wear it all day.
Now here is my list of Pro's and Con's for this wig, so you can make up your own mind as to whether or not you wish to buy it.
PRO'S:
Brilliantly vibrant colour and colour-gradient mix,
Very little shine,
Natural looking fibres,
Soft and well sized wig netting/cap,
Soft and easily-manageable hair,
Cheap and great quality,
Good value for money,
Good response time from UNIQSO when emailed.
CON'S:
Shipping wasn't very fast,
Very little notification of package processing/shipping via UNIQSO (I had to send them an email asking),
Wig cap was a bit too small for complete comfort.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a great wig for great value UNIQSO will surely deliver! Just make sure you prepare to order well in advance of a Convention if you are a cheap-skate like me and only purchase regular shipping. Hehehe.
